J’ai 63 ans et j’éprouve de nombreux problèmes de santé: je prends 16 médicaments par jour en plus de l’insuline. Je me retrouve inapte au travail après avoir travaillé pendant 40 ans au Québec.

Ma fille habite hors Canada. Il y a un an, elle attendait son premier bébé et avait une grossesse à problèmes si bien qu’elle se rendait à l’hôpital 3 ou 4 jours par semaine et qu’elle a dû subir une césarienne à 7 mois de grossesse. Bien sur, je suis allée aider ma fille et je suis restée plusieurs mois hors Québec.

Je paye encore pour cette décision puisque l’aide sociale me retire un montant chaque mois.

I am 63 years old and have many medical problems.  I take 16 medications a day as well as insulin.  I find myself invalide after have worked for 40 years in Quebec.

My daughter lives outside of Canada.  A year ago, she had a lot of complications while awaiting the birth of her first child.  She was in the hospital 3 or 4 days a week and had to undergo a caesarean at only 7 months of pregnancy.   Of course, I went to help my daughter and spent several months outside of Quebec.

I still pay for taking that decision as my check has been reajusted.
